The band, Firewood, came together in the spring of 2002. They have hung out at the This is the Place Heritage Park playing on a porch of the Andrus house or the Huntsman Hotel and for park events such as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow interactive play, Culture Festival, and Candlelight Christmas.
They provided the music for the 150-year celebration of the laying of the Salt Lake Temple corner stone. They play for various group dinners and square dances. Their goal is to learn all the instruments and songs they can and laugh a lot while they work at it.
